The past couple of months I have been observing. Learning. Becoming.
I want to be a better mom. I want to be the BEST mom for my kids. The best version of me that I can.
And so I see:
I see the sweet way other mother's interact. Their kind words and softly spoken reprimands.
I see the patience and love they give even when they are frustrated.
I see them wake up before everyone else so they can get a headstart on the day.
I see them change diets to keep their children healthier.
I see them fix meals that will make their children stronger.
I see them give up something now for something that will be better later.
I see them give and give and give with a happiness in their heart because they are being a Mom.
I see and learn from the amazing women I am blessed to have in my life and maybe, hopefully, I can take the best of what I see and use that to become the best mom for my boys.
Thank you for your examples.

I think you're doing a great job! Isn't it nice to have wonderful examples to follow? Thank goodness we can continute to learn and grown.
You are a great example to me, nicole. I hope you know that! Your boys are so lucky to have you.
I haven't checked this blog in a while, and I'm so glad I did because you have so many beautiful things on here that I really needed to read right now. I struggle so much with knowing the kind of mom I want to be, and ought to be, and feeling the huge gap of inadequacy that stands between me and that ideal. Your posts are encouraging and beautiful. I loved especially the reminder about our capacity to love, and trusting in Heavenly Father. Not sure when you're going private, but I'd love to be invited. wrightmemail@gmail.com
(also some encouragement, our house was for sale for 1 year before it finally sold. it was a long hard year, and I definitely felt frustrated sometimes because I knew Heavenly Father had given us the go ahead, but also told us to be patient. It was really hard, but now we are in our new home and everything worked out great. I often had to repent for murmuring, but I hope that I've grown a little from our experience. Wishing you luck with your house, and I'm sure Heavenly Father has a timeline that will work our beautifully for your family). Good luck with your upcoming baby. Almost forgot, the whole reason I wanted to comment on here is because I really admire you as a mother. Just from the things you write, and the happiness you radiate in your pictures, you make me want to be a better mom. Your boys are lucky. Take care! Sorry for the novel.
